press pass

on tuesday i went with some classmates to a John McCain rally in Fayetteville, NC.
we went partly for our photojourn class cause we get extra credit for going to any political rally, and partly because it was just an amazing experience.

it's so awesome being there. totally different than watching it on tv. just like nothing you could ever image. plus, just like we keep saying, it's amazing to be right in the middle of history being made.

I really like the photo with McCain out of focus and the hands of the crowd members pointing. It's a great example of conveying a message without necessarily featuring the intended subject in the photo. It can be very hard to capture a moment and convey the feeling of that moment, but I think you did it quite well with that image.

I like most of these shots. On one of them, the teleprompter is cutting through his head though. But overall very nice shots since he is so hard to photograph.

I like the 1st McCain photo because he has a very nice facial expression, that makes it seem like he would be a good president.
